My everyday makeup routine. There are definitely variants to this look in which I add things like eyeshadow, bronzer, and lipstick + lipgloss, but this is pretty much the base of what I wear on a daily basis.

1. Laura Mercier Foundation Primer; 2. Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation; 3. Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base; 4. Mac Paint Pot in Painterly; 5. Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Liner; 6. Fairydrops Mascara; 7. Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Creme Brulee; 8. Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Setting Spray; 9. Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Adored; 10. Maybelline Dream Matte Powder

I usually scrub the crap out of my face with Lush’s Ocean Salt. Ocean Salt makes my face feel so soft, but of course that’s not enough so I’ll usually follow up with the Purity face wash. Purity is super gentle and moisturizing, yet it still makes my face feel squeaky clean. Once I’m out of the shower, I’ll use Clinique’s Clarifying Lotion toner to remove any remaining dirt and to give my skin some extra acne fighting essence. The next two items are actually samples I’ve received from the Lancome counter ladies but have been my saving grace this month. And the samples were surprisingly generous. Not sure exactly what Lancome Visionnaire Serum is doing, but I enjoy the consistency and I know for sure a serum is much needed as a preventative thing to combat wrinkles and hyper-pigmentation when I’m older. Next up is what I believe to be the best moisturizer ever. I’ve never found a moisturizer as moisturizing, silky, and non-greasy as this High Resolution 3x Moisturizer (really bad product name). Especially in these cold winter months, my face gets really cracked and dry. I’ve tried Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer but it was everything but ultra—it’s been demoted to the night time routine. I follow up with Bobbi Brown’s eye cream, which is the best consistency for eye cream—it’s extremely thick and helps my concealer adhere and apply more evenly.  And if it’s been a long night or if there is any sort of puffiness under my eyes, I’ll use Kiehl’s Facial Fuel Eye De-puffer to depufferize—it’s really cooling and soothing.

As for my body, it’s pretty simple. I’ll use Philosophy’s delicious and sweet smelling shower gel on a luffa and then once I get out of the shower, I’ll use the Lemon + Sage Body Butter by Bliss. The body butter is really clean smelling, which is nice after a showering and smothering my body in a sugary dessert.

"the time has come," this blogger said, "to talk of many things: of shoes and stripes and polka dots—of nail polishes and rings—and why my hair feels oh so soft and whether that face mask stings."
